Cyberbullying Talk

 

On Tuesday the 20th November Garda Edel Gilliland the Juvenile Liaison Officer in Cavan came to the school to speak to the children about Internet Safety and Cyber Bullying.

Garda Edel explained the dangers of the internet, in a friendly way, using real and practical examples for the students.

It was very informative.

Parent/Teacher Meetings will take place

Book Fair

Our book fair will run from Monday 26th November - Friday 30th November.

Science week runs from Monday the 12th - Friday 16th. 

Students will be participating in various experiments during the week.

Student Council 2018

Student Council Election

On Wednesday 24th October we had our Student Council Election.

Football Final Brefni Park

On Saturday 10th November Killeshandra Boys football team played in the final in Breffni Park against Arva. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful but they played very well.

Visit from Sr Anna

World meeting of Families 2018

On Tuesday 23rd October Sr Anna came to the school to talk to the children about the theme of this programme which was entitled "Families of Faith".  The programme invites Catholic schools to reflect on and celebrate the relationship that exists between home, school and parish.

KIlleshandra Day Care Centre

On Friday 9th November 6th class met up with 5th & 6th class pupils from the Church of Ireland School in Killeshandra to assist with packing the Team Hope Shoe Boxes in Killeshandra Day Care Centre.

They enjoyed their time there and 

 were treated to refreshments afterwards.
