Happy Christmas

Bake Sale in aid of Scoil Bhríde 

The Student Council are holding a cake sale in Scoil Bhríde on Sunday 8th December after 11am mass.

We are looking for donations of baked goods.

Please let us know if you can donate any items.

We need all items dropped into the school before 11am mass on the day.

First Holy Communion Meeting

There will be a meeting held in Scoil Bhríde on Tuesday 3rd December @ 8pm for parents of children receiving First Holy Communion.

3rd - 6th class attended a Dr. How's Science Wows workshop today in Killeshandra Community Centre with Dr. Naomi Lavelle.

MATHS WEEK 2019

Last week was Maths Week 2019. Mrs Fay's and Mrs Ginty's classes joined up to complete a fun outdoor maths trail. It was great collaborating in mixed class teams and we managed to complete the questions in the trail which were based on our own school building and grounds both indoors and outdoors.

Autumn Prayer Service

To celebrate the Autumn season and give thanksgiving, we had a whole school prayer service. Our Diocesan Advisor Sr. Anna joined in too. During the service we presented symbols of the Autumn season and our individual prayers for this school year.  We gave thanks to God through prayer and song for all the blessings we are grateful for.

Student Council Election

It's an exciting time for our 14 candidates in the annual Student Council Election at Scoil Bhríde. They have presented themselves to the whole school now and given their election speeches outlining their individual mandates. Students will vote in a secret ballot next week and the new student council will be duly elected!

Our school garden has a lovely autumnal feel to it at the moment with some lovely red juicy apples and a huge pumpkin growing in it at the moment!
