Goodbye

We said a sad goodbye to two wonderful staff  today Ms McDermott and Mrs Connolly.
Both staff members were dedicated, hardworking and will be missed here in the school both by staff and pupils.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with these two ladies and we wish them all the best in everything they do in the future.
Don't forget to call back and visit us.

Graduation Night 2018

Graduation Night
We held our graduation night on Wednesday the 20th of June.
A power point was shown which included photos of the children taken throughout their years in Scoil Bhríde.
6th class along with their parents came to the school for a special prayer service to mark the end of their years at primary school. It was conducted by Fr Dan who also  told some stories from his own experience of school and then presented all pupils with a small book with an inscription on the inside. He concluded with a prayer for both pupils and parents.

At the end of the evening we had tea and cakes which were made by 6th class earlier in the day.
It was a most enjoyable evening.

Educational School Tour 2018

Crystal Maze Kilmainhamwood
On Friday 8th June 3rd- 6th class went to the Crystal Maze on their school tour.
When we arrived we were given a warm welcome by identical twin brothers Damien and David. It was difficult to tell them apart. They explained the rules to all the children, divided them into teams  and off they went.
They had to complete physical, mental, skill and water based challenges around a large hedge maze in order to collect crystals for their teams.
The teachers were served scones and tea upon arrival and lunch later on.
We all had a most enjoyable day and will definitely be coming back.
