All of the staff at Scoil Bhríde wanted to send you a little message to say we really miss each and everyone of you. We are all fine and healthy and we hope you are too. It is hard to believe this school picture was taken just a few short months ago!
Life has changed alot for all of us for the time being and it will take us a while to re-adjust.
You may have watched An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar's speech to the nation last night. In it he asked all of the children in the country to be strong during this time which is new to us all. You have a big role to play which you will be amazing at.
-Do your schoolwork. **
-Be good for your parents and help them out.
-Contact your grandparents in other ways such as by phone or write to them the good old fashioned way or send them pictures and videos! They miss you as much as you miss them so think of inventive ways to keep them entertained.
-Write to each other.
-Limit your screen time and read, play with your toys, get creative.
-GET FRESH AIR. You can still get fresh air and exercise while social distancing.
-Go to bed early and get lots of rest and EAT HEALTHILY.
**For the days ahead carry on with the work set by your teachers and check out the fab websites we already posted here on the blog. We are working on a plan to keep communicating with you and we will be setting you more work to do in the coming weeks.
So from Mrs Ginty, Mrs Fay, Mrs Coyne, Mrs O Neill, Mrs O Dowd, Mrs Rowen and Mrs Finlay and the visiting teachers this year, we wish you all the best. Stay safe and do your best every day. We will be in touch again very soon.
